The Opportunity

The opportunity
We are partnered with a leading tech company who are seeking a Senior Government Relations Manager to work alongside senior leaders to analyse and respond to Government policies while maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders. This role will position the organisation as a trusted advisor and influencing policies that support business objectives.


Main responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the Government Relations programme, engaging with key political and industry influencers.
  • Analyse Government policies and their potential impacts, providing constructive alternatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Government, trade associations, and other senior stakeholders.
  • Provide clear and concise briefings on policy developments and their implications.
  • Coordinate internal communication on political monitoring and reporting.

Key skills and experience
  • In-depth understanding of the UK political process and policy development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex ideas clearly.
  • Experience in managing Government Affairs programmes in a large organisation or agency.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and ability to navigate multicultural environments.
  • For this role you will need experience working in tech, telecoms, or digital policy.
