Our client is a world class trade association representing members in the finance and banking industry within the UK. They have multiple manager level opportunities available in the Commercial Finance and Secondary Markets space.
Main responsibilities- Commercial Finance Manager
The role will particularly focus on the priorities of Invoice Finance and Asset-Based Lending (IF/ABL) members, as well as those of Commercial Finance members more broadly. The Manager will become a subject matter expert on specific areas of policy and other key member services that are provided from within the Product and Service team. They will also liaise closely with colleagues on the provision of wider member services where delivery responsibility sits in other business areas. The Manager will maintain their own relationships with members and other stakeholders, as well as supporting senior colleagues, and working collaboratively both within the team and across the organisation. This is a demanding role and unique opportunity, with daily interaction with members, the Commercial Finance leadership team, external stakeholders and colleagues across the wider organisation.
Main responsibilities- Secondary Markets Manager
The core responsibilities of this role are to support the development and delivery of policy positions and operational projects on priority areas identified by the Capital Markets and Wholesale Banking industry. This will involve you taking an agile approach, working closely with your colleagues in the Capital Markets and Wholesale team and other stakeholders to support the development and delivery of advocacy on behalf of our members. The Capital Markets and Wholesale team has a wide-ranging remit across various financial services products and services and is also responsible for member relationships across a broad cross-section of UK and international membership. The strength of the team is its collaborative and cross-cutting approach. The post-holder is expected to support the delivery and management of (a) key member committees and working groups and (b) a portfolio of important projects on key themes impacting our members. This could include work spanning primary markets, corporate finance, secondary markets/post trade and cross-border policy items arising from international developments. The successful applicant will also support their line manager, Directors and Managing Director in engaging with members, senior stakeholders across regulatory bodies and government officials
