Our client is a strategic global advisory firm with an opening for a Director to join its Health and Life Sciences practice.
The Opportunity
This role works with a team of policy consultants across multiple global offices. It will suit a senior communicator with geopolitical insights regarding global trends to inform strategic business goals in the health and technology industry.
Working with the senior colleagues, you will manage the needs of an exceptional portfolio of clients and contribute to the design and implementation of a growth strategy for the practice.
The successful candidate will help manage the strong UK client footprint whilst driving continued expansion into global markets.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide expert, strategic, actionable advice and thought leadership to clients in the pharmaceutical industry, health technology industry, and a wide range of organisations across the health, social care, and life sciences landscape.
- Ensure the successful delivery of client work, including investor due diligence reports, monitoring and analysis on health and life sciences policy, the development of thought leadership, and innovative approaches to public policy engagement.
- Build and maintain partnerships and relationships with a wider network of businesses, policymakers, trade bodies and other stakeholders at senior levels.
Key Skills and Experience Required:
- Expertise and knowledge of healthcare policy, how it is made, and the ability to track policy trends across global jurisdictions
- An understanding of the interaction of politics with the health and life sciences sector; a similar knowledge of social care policy is desirable but not essential.
- A track record of effective team management and development, ideally in a diverse multinational environment.
The ideal person for this role will be a keen observer of global trends and be expected to provide advice for a growing client base on political, policy and regulatory-driven risks and opportunities.
