Consumer Communications Manager
The Opportunity
The Opportunity:
We are partnering with a global organisation in the entertainment and gaming industry to recruit a Consumer Communications Manager, on a 12-month, fixed-term contract. You will lead on high-profile brand campaigns, proactively seeing out engaging news opportunities to boost their profile and reach.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement high-profile campaigns to support the delivery of key consumer PR initiatives
- Proactively spot and drive stories and campaigns that have high levels of shareability, and engagement with target audiences
- Work with the team to set out a media plan, to ensure that key opportunities are identified and key campaigns prioritised
- Ensure co-ordination and alignment of PR campaign messaging across multi-platform channels, in partnership with Marketing, Digital, and Corporate Communications
- Manage interviews focused on key campaigns, including briefing spokespeople and creating content.
Key Skills and Experience Required:
- Extensive experience in PR, media or journalism
- Established relationships with national and regional consumer media
- A successful track record of landing stories in print, digital, TV and radio
- Strong understanding of modern consumer media consumption, trends and best practice
- An audience-first mindset and demonstrable experience of using real-time analytics to inform PR plans and recommendations.
