Charity seeks a new Content Management Executive!

The Opportunity

Ellwood Atfield has partnered with a leading charity to recruit for a Content Management Executive! This crucial role helps them to optimise and manage content to tell a consistent and impactful story that resonates with target audiences and drives engagement. You would work across the organisation to ensure a strong content experience for their audiences and strengthen relationships with them.

This role pays around £34,000 and offers hybrid working, with an office located in London. This role is a 12-month fixed term contract, with the possibility of an extension.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting on designing and executing a content strategy, tracking its impact and ensuring objectives and user needs are met
  • Developing and embedding governance processes, assisting colleagues in the production, management, and maintenance of content
  • Embedding style guidelines to ensure brand consistency and compliance
  • Working with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of content
  • Evaluating and reporting on performance of content using feedback, analytics, and other data
  • Driving the strategic development of the website
  • Collaborating with the digital team to promote ease of navigation, with appropriate templates, style sheets, optimised images and copy
  • Creating new engaging, user-focussed content, including website copy, blogs, videos, presentations, and other content with colleagues
  • Ensuring compliance with editorial and brand style guidelines across all work
  • Helping the Head of Content to build a network of creative freelancers such as writers, editors, and multimedia specialists

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience in a content management role, including working on website management
  • Ideally, previous experience working in the charity sector
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
